Hey there, I'm Carly
Well, Where shall we start?
I'm a business consultant and photographer for new Canadian entrepreneurs and freelancers - helping them to realize their full potential and create thriving businesses from their passions. I'm a creative at heart, a true free spirit, someone who will always work to understand the souls of those I'm with, and who prefers deep conversations to small talk. I hang on to my dreams with everything I've got and will stop at nothing to realize them and I'll encourage you to do the same.
Okay, but how did you get to where you are now?
I spent 6 years in university and started my professional career as an accountant making lots of money but felt empty, lonely and lost inside. Sound familiar? After 3 years at my job, I quit and moved into a school bus with my boyfriend to pursue my passions and a life by my own design. I wasn't sure if this was the best decision I'd ever made or the biggest mistake of my life. All I knew is that life would never be the same. Now, I've blended my extensive business background with my passion for art and freedom to provide consulting to other talented Canadians who wish to make a passion from their business.
The day I left my 9-5 was the day my life started.
I had the freedom I so craved, and I vowed to make my life into a work of art. In March 2017, I fulfilled a life long dream and set off on a 3 month journey with my love through the Southern US desert in our school bus. I had to pinch myself everyday. Was this real life? Had I not made the bold decision to leave my corporate job, had I given up on my dream, I would have cheated myself out of the most beautiful experience that would go on to change the course of my life forever.
With a little luck and strategy, I turned my accounting background and photography passion into a business that supports me fully, financially and spiritually. I get to do what I love every day, and I work with the most inspiring people who have gone on to create amazing businesses. The truth is, that anyone who has done something innovative or bold has had to make a huge life shift and it's not always easy at first.
Pain and discomfort is NOT a sign that you're on the wrong path, it's a sign you're expanding and growing. Don't be afraid to push.
So, now what?
Life is pretty damn good. I live in Vancouver and work with the most incredible people on a daily basis. I'm passionate about connecting with you on a deep level. Are you ready?
